stashdown update

A month ago I pledged to eliminate my entire shop fabric stash by the end of April. It certainly seemed do-able at the time. I’ve dulled over a dozen rotary blades and with 2 work weeks left before my deadline, I think I’m finally making a dent. (Especially after that giant camera strap update.) Look! Empty bolts!
The cut pieces are piling up quickly. (There’s enough there for 72 box bags)
I think it might be time to start hunting down an intern or a part-timer to help cut and fuse interfacing. Know anyone in the Boston area handy with an iron and a rotary cutter?

I’m in CT….I could come but I think it’d be a long commute! (I worked at a costume shop for over a year and sew all the time!)
I’ll let you know if I think of anyone!
What’s your timeframe? Still end of April? I quilt all the time and live in Newton. (I’m Thea’s friend too if that counts!)
I live in Quincy and have time. I also like irons and rotary cutters.
Leave your response!
