As if I didn’t have enough projects on the go for summer, I’ve jumped in feet first to one of JulieFrick’s crazy schemes. 60 Blocks of Summer. The basic idea is to sew 60 quilting blocks over the course of the next few months. Actually, that’s not just the basic idea, that IS the idea. Starting now, ending September 3rd.
So far I have 6.
I figure between bee blocks and baby quilts for all my procreating friends, I should be able to get close. Maybe? Maybe not.
That is such a cute block and you can use up all those little scraps and each block would be so different. Thanks for sharing.
I really love these blocks. I am still totally scared of quilting, mostly because I don’t think I am detailed enough in my sewing to make something look decent!
but I will happily drool over what you and all the others create!
I feel a rummage through my stash coming on…
