You know how it seems like it’s been FOREVER since I posted about knitting? I mean, really really posted about knitting? Not just a swatch or a stash enhancement? Truth is, I’ve been knitting. A tonne. And I’ve been working with designers. And patterns. And tech editors. And the inimitable Stitchy McYarnpants.
Behold, Knitting it Old School!
It’s up for pre-order on Amazon now, so we can finally let the cat outta the bag. Lookit! Lookit!
Stitchy and I made a book! And it’s GORGEOUS.
I’ll end up gushing about it a lot over the next few months and you’ll see plenty of sneak peeks here but I’m so excited to finally have the cover out there! In the real world! On Amazon and everything! In a post with way too many exclamation points and all-caps!
We pulled together an incredible lineup of up-and-coming and all-star designers and the projects are freaking amazing. (That’s Marnie MacLean’s sweater on the cover. ) There’s knitting and crochet and sewing projects. One even combines sewing and crochet or as we like to call it, “sewchet.”
I can hardly wait to start putting project photos up on Ravelry. Of course we have to wait until the book comes out in September. HOW CAN WE WAIT THAT LONG?)
