Summer really sucks wind for shop productivity, but even doubly so when you’re preparing for a book to come out. Now that it’s on the shelves I can get back to the sewing machine and start cranking stuff out again. Feels good!

First off the press are these new Biggie Box Bags. They’re almost three times as big as my usual box bag size and I’m loving them. They’re HUGE. You can fit a whole bag of Rowan Felted Tweed in with no problem. (I may have augmented the stash this weekend after a visit to Snow Goose Yarns in Milton. Buy one, get one free for all their Felted Tweed! I couldn’t resist. But I digress)
I really wanted to make a bag that was big enough for an entire sweater project. If you’re knitting a sweater in the round, you quickly run out of space in a regular box bag, but with this you can stuff the whole thing in!

I listed the first batch in the shop yesterday afternoon and I expect to have a few more in by week’s end.

Enough to hold Felted Tweed you say? I may also have that sort of stash from Snow Goose…
I love it. I definitely have a problem with stashing bigger projects. It’s nice to see a fresh solution!
